I did some white water kayaking with ColombiaRafting.com (I can’t say enough positive things about the company). I was told the rapids were class 1, 2 and 2+. This video is intended to accompany my blog post (http://www.tysongoesoutside.com/from-colombia-with-love/). I had an absolute blast and I am far from a professional anything. If you ever get a chance to go Kayaking, please do, its a rush and crashing into water doesn’t hurt. I filmed this all with my GoPro (hero 3+ I think)
Drove up to Quebec and got two river days on the Rouge. Great river. Ran all the sisters. Here are the most challenging drops that I paddled/filmed throughout the trip.
An old friend Fritz turned up the other day with a few mates to go kayaking on the gorge section of the Rangitikei River, Taihape, New Zealand. Fritz insisted that Brian went along with his 11’6″ cataraft, which Brian was very pleased he did. Filmed are a couple of the rapid highlights of the day, Fulcrum and Foamy Rapids. Fritz makes the top of Fulcrum look easy, while Brian does what he does. More info at http://www.rivervalley.co.nz
